Our Fees

This page explains different fee arrangement options for our services to suit your legal situation and your financial circumstances.

Fixed fee

Depending on the nature of your matter and services we will provide, we may be able to fix our costs, so that you have peace of mind about how much our services will cost. Fixed fee options are generally available for matters and situations where we can confidently estimate the work likely to be involved.

We offer various fixed costs arrangements for:

Time-costed

Where we cannot advise and represent you on a fixed fee basis, our fees will be time-costed – that is, they will be based on the actual time we spend working on your case. Our hourly rate is either competitive or below what many other firms charge for the high quality of our advice and services.

We will provide you with an estimate of what our fees are likely to be depending on various scenarios. Our invoices will itemise what work we have carried out, so you know where your money is going.

Legal aid

If you are unable to fund legal representation, you may be eligible for assistance from Legal Aid for your legal fees. Your eligibility will depend upon your financial means and the nature of your matter.

Our practical experience, legal expertise and high quality services, as well as commitment to helping those in need of advice and representation have seen us become appointed to various Legal Aid panels, including:

  • In criminal law – summary criminal law and serious criminal law (indictable criminal law and complex criminal law)
  • In family law – family law and domestic violence advocacy
  • In civil law – civil law and mental health advocacy
